Hello, I'm Lesley Joy, a facilitator, guide, and lifelong explorer of the playful and transformational

For over four decades, I’ve been walking a winding path of creative expression, healing, and leadership. My work is rooted in the wisdom traditions of both North and South America, and the Far East.

I believe that real change—whether personal, relational, or collective—requires both courage and tenderness. It asks us to meet ourselves fully, in all our complexity, in this here and now moment, and to find the next aligned step with humility, humour, and heart. I’m willing to accompany you on that journey.

Across every setting I work in—psychedelic preparation/integration, coaching, ancestral healing, leadership development, breathwork, meditation, public speaking, group facilitation, and clowning - I am committed to honouring the sources of these teachings and to working in ways that are safe, ethical, non-appropriating, and grounded in reciprocity.

At the center of my practice is the ancient framework of the Four Directions—a living map of balance and wholeness. Each direction calls forth different aspects of our healing and growth, helping us navigate the cycles of life with clarity, resilience, and purpose.

A little more about me:

  • I’m a Senior Associate with Olivier Mythodrama Associates, delivering leadership training programs and executive coaching around the world.

  • I served as a Lead Facilitator with the Synthesis Institute Retreat Team, supporting hundreds of people through legal psychedelic retreats in the Netherlands, and as Guest Faculty and Learning Mentor for students of the Synthesis 13-month Psychedelic Practitioner Training.

  • My home base is the Findhorn Community, an intentional, international, eco-village and spiritual community in Scotland.

  • I've trained in and offer modalities including: Family and Organisational Constellations, Archetypal Psychology, Process Oriented Psychology, Pesso Boyden System Psychomotor, Internal Family Systems, Conscious Connected Breathwork, Plum Village conflict resolution practices, and Joanna Macy's Work that Reconnects

  • I spent 15 years as a therapeutic clown in children’s hospitals and hospices, learning from some of the most courageous teachers I’ve ever met.

  • Buddhist-based Insight meditation has been my root practice for over 40 years. I am a mindfulness meditation teacher and I continue to spend 4-6 weeks per year in silent meditation retreats as well as engaging in daily practice. Teaching you to meditate or deepen an existing meditation practice is woven into all of my 1:1 work.

  • My Tedx talk has had over 14,000 views. Watch here to see me in action & hear a bit of my story.

This path has taken me across continents, onto stages, into ceremonies and meditation halls, boardrooms and classrooms — and one thing I have discovered is this:

We are all on an adventure of remembering who we really are, why we're here, what and whom we serve, and how we belong to each other.

I'd be delighted and honoured to support you on your journey.
